Shortstay operates with advance payments, in 30-day cycles. Timely payment is a contractual obligation of the reservation holder.
Starting from the first day of delay, the following are applied:
10% penalty on the invoice amount.
1% interest per month, proportional to the period of delay.
Shortstay does not grant grace periods or waive late fees or interest.
Any delay also prevents approval of reservation extensions and may result in future reservations being denied due to the history of non-payment.
From the 1st day of delay
Application of the penalty and interest, in addition to reservation restrictions.
After 10 days of delay
Referral of the debt to Serasa, in accordance with the legal notification procedures.
After 30 days overdue
Initiation of appropriate legal measures, including debt collection, contract termination, and legal action to vacate the property.
The debt may include court costs and attorney's fees, in accordance with applicable law and the contractual terms.
