Short stay

Late payment: fine, interest, and consequences

Overdue invoice has a 10% fine and 1% interest per month, without exceptions. Prolonged delays lead to legal measures.

Payment on time is a guest obligation, as stipulated in the contract. See what happens in case of delay.

Late payment charges

Invoices paid after the due date automatically receive:

  • 10% fine on the amount

  • 1% monthly interest

Zero-tolerance policy

We do not remove fines or interest — under any circumstances. The charges are applied automatically and are part of the conditions accepted in the contract. Please note: the invoice is sent via WhatsApp, e-mail, and app, therefore non-receipt is not a valid justification.

Prolonged delays

In the event of a prolonged delay, Shortstay takes the appropriate legal measures for collection, as provided for in the contract.

Avoid late payment

  • Enable push notifications in the app

  • When paying by boleto, plan ahead: processing takes up to 2 business days

  • If you encounter any difficulties, contact Support before the due date
