Every reservation request on Shortstay undergoes internal review before final confirmation.
This step exists to protect guests, property owners, properties, condominiums, neighbors, payment methods, and platform security.
Submitting documents, selecting a property, or opening the request in the app does not guarantee automatic reservation approval.
A reservation is only considered confirmed when all the steps below are completed:
approval in registration, documentary, financial, operational, and security review;
electronic signature of the contract;
payment confirmation;
release of check-in instructions directly in the app.
Until these steps are completed, the request is still under review and the stay is not confirmed.
During internal review, Shortstay may evaluate information such as:
Registration data;
Documents submitted;
Validation selfie;
Electronic signature;
Account ownership;
Income verification;
Credit history;
Consistency of submitted information;
Payment method;
Behavior in customer service;
Platform usage;
Internal security, eligibility, and transaction protection criteria.
The analysis may vary according to the request profile, the selected property, the requested period, the documents presented, and other internal factors.
Shortstay operates with stays in furnished properties, within condominiums and residential environments.
Therefore, internal analysis is an important step to reduce risks, prevent fraud, validate information, and ensure that the reservation can proceed safely for all parties involved.
This analysis helps protect:
guests;
property owners;
properties;
condominiums;
neighbors;
customer service team;
payment methods;
platform security and integrity.
Yes.
Shortstay may refuse, cancel, or block a reservation request when, after internal analysis, it identifies inconsistencies, risk, suspected misuse of the platform, or incompatibility with operational rules.
This can occur even if some documents have been submitted correctly.
Reservation approval is not automatic and depends on the successful completion of internal analysis.
Not always.
For reasons of security, fraud prevention, and operational protection, Shortstay may not disclose specific details of the analysis, internal criteria, risk signals, scores, verification sources, proprietary rules, or anti-fraud procedures used in the decision.
When possible, Shortstay may request corrections, new documents, or additional information through the app.
In other cases, the decision may be communicated only as a request not approved by internal analysis.
During the analysis, we recommend that you:
Monitor the status of your request through the app;
Submit documents only through official channels;
Ensure that the data submitted is correct and up to date;
Submit legible and complete images;
Respond to team requests within the deadline;
Do not submit documents from third parties;
Do not open multiple requests to attempt to circumvent the process.
The analysis results will be returned through Shortstay's official channels, primarily through the app.
The internal analysis does not constitute an accusation, personal judgment, or confirmation of irregularity.
It is a security step by Shortstay to assess whether the request meets the necessary criteria to proceed with the confirmation of the stay.
Not all requests will be approved, and submitting documents does not guarantee reservation confirmation.
