Credit analysis: why the reservation may not be approved

A CPF with restrictions or pending issues in the credit history may prevent the reservation from being approved. See how it works.

Every booking on Shortstay goes through a credit analysis. In some cases, it cannot be approved.

When the booking is not approved

The booking cannot be approved when the CPF shows a restriction (negative status) or outstanding issues in the credit history.

How the analysis works

During the analysis, we verify the status of your CPF. This step protects guests and property owners and ensures the security of bookings.

Internal monitoring of the CPF

Shortstay maintains an internal and continuous monitoring of the CPF, including after approval, as part of our security and fraud prevention measures.

What to do

If your booking was not approved for this reason, you can:

- Regularize the outstanding issues associated with your CPF and try again

- Contact Support through the application to understand the available options
