The documents you need to host foreigners in Brazil can change depending on a few things, like the guest’s nationality, the kind of visa, and how long they’re staying. But there are some basic documents that are usually required:
Foreigner’s Documents
Valid passport: This is the most common and internationally accepted ID document.
Visa: The type of visa will decide how long the foreigner can stay in Brazil and what rights they have here.
National Migration Registration Card (CRNM): This shows that the foreigner’s migration status in Brazil is regularized.
The registration analysis will be done before making the contract.
Additional documents may be requested, as well as an increase in the security deposit among other requirements.

Selfie request for identity verification can also be requested through the Shortstay app.
