Pets: which properties accept them and how the fee works

Shortstay is pet friendly for small animals: check the property rules and the fee of R$ 100 per pet on the monthly invoice.

Shortstay is pet friendly! 🐾 As most of the properties are residential, small pets are generally welcome — but the rules vary by owner.

Check before booking

On the property page, go to "Things to Know" → "Rules". There you can see whether the property:

Accepts or does not accept pets
Has other important rules (no smoking, move-out cleaning, etc.)

Pet fee

For properties that accept pets:

R$ 100 per pet, charged on the monthly invoice
Maximum of 2 small pets per apartment
