To make guests’ daily lives easier, maintenance can be requested straight from the app, subject to review, schedule during business hours and extra charges.
When maintenance is requested, Shortstay will review and inform you of the cost (if applicable).
Shortstay offers a fast service with really competitive prices, but the guest is also welcome to take care of things themselves.
Urgent repairs outside business hours should be handled by the guest and here are a few tips:
Check with the building doorman: If your building has a janitor or 24h doorman, ask for some help since they probably already have some approved service providers who can help you faster.
Report to Shortstay: Go ahead and send a message in chat or by email to suporte@shortstay.com.br (mentioning your name, building, and apartment number) and as soon as our team is available during working hours you'll get the help you need.
Power outage: If it's a power outage, make sure you didn't plug anything unusual into the socket, turn the main breaker off and then on again.
Problem opening the door Call a locksmith 24h. For apartments with electronic locks, watch for low battery alerts and swap them out right away. Always keep your physical key handy too.
