Basic repairs at check-out: what Shortstay+ covers

One of the greatest advantages of Shortstay+: at the end of the stay, basic repairs are already included — no deposit deduction, no surprise at check-out.

What are basic repairs

These are the small adjustments due to the natural wear from use of the property, identified during the move-out inspection. For example:

• Small paint touch-ups and light marks on the walls

• Holes from frames and supports

• Replacement of burnt-out light bulbs

• Small adjustments to hinges, handles, and latches

How it works at check-out

• You check out as usual.

• Our team carries out the move-out inspection.

• The basic repairs identified are carried out at no additional cost — they are already included in your plan. ✅

What is NOT included ⚠

Damages due to misuse are charged separately, in any plan. For example:

• Broken furniture, appliances or equipment

• Stains or permanent damage on upholstery and mattresses

• Broken glass

• Damage caused by non-compliance with rules (e.g., smoking in the property)

And in the Standard plan?

In the Standard, repairs identified during the inspection are deducted from the security deposit — see the article "Plano Padrão: caução única com devolução de saldo".
