The signing of the contract is personal and non-transferable: the person who signs is the account holder — and the account holder must be the owner of the reservation.
The contract must be signed by the account holder.
The account holder must be the actual owner of the reservation.
No one may sign on your behalf — neither family members nor friends.
To ensure the authenticity of the signature, we collect validation data at the time of signing via the app:
Geolocation
Handwritten signature — made in the app’s signature panel
Device identification — and other technical validation information
This data is used exclusively to validate the signature and prevent fraud, processed securely and in compliance with the LGPD (General Data Protection Law — Law No. 13.709/2018). The details are in our Privacy Policy.
The app requests your location permission at the time of signing — it is necessary to complete the validation.
If our team identifies signs of irregularity in the signing process — for example, a signature made by third parties or inconsistent validation data — Shortstay may:
Cancel the contract
Permanently suspend your account
Did you identify any issue at the time of signing, or did you sign in an unusual situation (e.g., trip, phone change)? Contact Support through the app first — this way we avoid any misunderstandings during validation.
Your account, your reservation, your subscription. By keeping everything in your name, the process is fast and without risks.
